Refacing the cabinets is another way you can redo the kitchen. A typical project involves replacing the doors and drawer fronts. You can buy new doors or make them yourself. If you want to change the color of the cabinets, you can paint them and buy the doors to match. You can also sand the cabinets and apply a different color of stain. Once you tell the door manufacturer the stain color and the kind of material the cabinets are made from, you can easily get the new doors you need.
